Safety is the most important factor to consider when hiking.

reconsider going hiking unless you have considered the costs.

and even getting stuck out on the trails alone.

- Wearing proper shoes is also important beacuse it can prevent ankle injurys and is better for your feet when dealing with rocky terians
- Water
- Water is so important for hiking in Arizona as it can prevent fainting from dehydation and you can use it to cool down if tempurtures get too high
- Hiking Backpack
- While this isnt something you need youll find yourself wanting it. Backpacks make it easy to carry the essential iteams you do need.
- Snacks
- Snacks are always important while going to do anything for long periods of time. And if you find yourself lost youll be really thankful you brought some snacks with you.
- Weather Appropiate Clothes
- This is so important when hiking in Arizona as it gets hot really fast here. Youll want to brinf clothes that cool you down while also protecting your skin from the sun.
- Navigation
- You'll want to bring a paper map with you or a picture of the trail map on your phone to ensure you dont get lost on the trails.
